New Strategic Plan Positions APRM to Address Continental Governance Challenges with Impact

The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) has officially launched its Strategic Plan 2025–2028, establishing a robust roadmap to enhance public institutions and promote democratic governance across Africa. Anchored by the core “3P” values of Professionalism, Performance, and Probity, the new four-year strategy aligns closely with the AU Agenda 2063 Second 10-Year Implementation Plan. The plan focuses on four strategic themes—ranging from institutional strengthening to expanded partnerships—and introduces e-governance as a vital sixth thematic focus area for future country reviews.
